Sarah is a Senior Associate in the firm’s litigation department and is based in the Cayman office.  She advises clients on a broad range of complex commercial and insolvency/restructuring related litigation and dispute resolution matters.

She is the co-author and editor of both editions of a Practical Guide to Insolvency Litigation (Sweet & Maxwell, 2016 and 2018) and contributed a Cayman Islands section to the 2022 edition.

She has worked on a diverse number of litigation matters over the years for clients including; creditors, banks, insolvency office-holders, directors and companies in both corporate and personal insolvency matters. She also has substantial experience in general commercial litigation disputes concerning contractual disputes, breaches of restrictive covenants, minority shareholder petitions, the enforcement of judgments, freezing and search and seizure orders, applications for judicial review, trusts, trademarks, proceeds of crime, guarantees and indemnities, funds, security and finance matters and enforcing judgments.

Prior to being called to the Cayman bar in 2020 Sarah practised at city law firms in London for 13 years before moving to develop the contentious insolvency product at Practical Law, (a Thomson Reuters product). She went on to lead the Restructuring & Insolvency team there before moving to the Cayman Islands in 2019 when she worked for another Cayman Islands law firm before moving to Forbes Hare in 2022.
