Paul has over 20 years’ experience advising on complex litigation, insolvency, arbitration and regulatory matters. His practice covers the full range of offshore work, including corporate and commercial disputes, contentious insolvency and restructuring fund disputes, asset tracing and enforcement, freezing injunctions and other interim relief, disclosure orders, and trust litigation.
Before relocating to the Cayman Islands in 2018, Paul was a partner in the Litigation & Regulatory team at DLA Piper in London. He previously worked at Slaughter and May in London, Herbert Smith Freehills in Tokyo, and spent time on secondment with Goldman Sachs and RBS/Natwest in London. Before joining Forbes Hare, Paul spent five years as a partner at Harneys in the Cayman Islands.
Paul appears regularly as an advocate before the Grand Court and obtained Higher Rights of Audience in England & Wales. He has also served on the Legal and Regulatory Committee of the Recovery and Insolvency Specialists Association.
