Jenny is a dual English and Chinese qualified lawyer (non-practising), admitted to practise as a solicitor of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court.
Jenny qualified in 2012 and practised at a major law firm in Shanghai. Since 2017 she has worked exclusively in the offshore sector, where she advises asset and fund managers, financial institutions, and corporate clients on structuring, governance and compliance. She also advises private clients and their families on international wealth-holding structures, inheritance planning and asset protection.
On the contentious side, she works closely with other Forbes Hare disputes partners on China-related offshore disputes of every hue. She has particular experience of pre-IPO venture company disputes (mostly investor-side), investment fund litigation and arbitration, shareholder disputes, asset recovery, cross-border enforcement of judgments and arbitral awards, and contentious trusts and estates matters.
