Sophie is an associate in the litigation department of Forbes Hare, based in the British Virgin Islands. She undertakes a broad range of company and commercial litigation, corporate insolvency and trust-related disputes in line with the firm’s practice, primarily involving offshore companies, investment funds and trusts. She also has experience of arbitration and mediation.
Sophie trained at Irwin Mitchell in Leeds, joining their commercial litigation department on qualification. She subsequently practised in the litigation department of Addleshaw Goddard, also based in their Leeds office. She has higher rights of audience in the civil courts of England and Wales.
Sophie joined Forbes Hare in January 2019.
