Other information
Fleur is a partner in Forbes Hare’s dispute resolution and contentious insolvency team, based in Hong Kong.
Originally English and Irish qualified (now non-practising in both jurisdictions), she is qualified in both the Cayman Islands and the BVI and has experience of large scale commercial work and cross-border insolvency in both jurisdictions. The majority of her work involves Cayman or BVI companies, investment funds, partnerships and trusts, with a wide variation on those themes, including Cayman fair value litigation. Although most Caribbean work tends to be court-based, she also has significant experience of commercial arbitration under most major rules (LCIA, HKIAC, ICC and ad hoc UNICTRAL rules). Fleur has developed particular expertise in managing disputes involving Hong Kong-listed, Singapore-listed and US-listed companies and regularly advises stakeholders regarding the convening and management of contentious general meetings and shareholder activism generally.
Fleur previously worked in the Cayman Islands and Hong Kong offices of a large offshore law firm. She possesses full professional proficiency in Mandarin.
