Christina joined Forbes Hare in January 2013 and is a member of the firm’s Litigation group in the Cayman Islands. She has broad-based experience advising international clients on all aspects of commercial litigation, insolvency, contentious trusts, funds disputes and insurance disputes.

Christina trained with Coudert Brothers LLP in London prior to her qualification in 2003 and subsequently  practised  in their Litigation Department.  Christina was then seconded to the English Court of Appeal where she worked as a judicial assistant to the Rt Hon Sir Anthony Clarke and the Rt Hon Sir Anthony May. Thereafter, she worked as a litigator for Norton Rose LLP  in London for over three years. During this time Christina handled a varied caseload of banking and financial services, insolvency, trusts, regulatory and media matters.

More recently Christina practised for two years as an attorney-at–law in the Litigation and Insolvency team of Ogier in the Cayman Islands.

Christina speaks fluent Portuguese and conversational Spanish and is a member of Forbes Hare’s Latin America practice group.
