Hurricane Irma hit the BVI on September 6. Irma was the most severe Atlantic hurricane on record, and caused widespread damage. We gratefully acknowledge the many kind messages of support from our friends, clients and colleagues.
Our business continuity procedures are fully operational, and we can continue to assist clients with all BVI-related matters.
The BVI Company Registry online VIRRGIN system has been functional from Monday September 12 and is accessible from our offices outside the BVI. Other BVI Government offices, including the court registries, remain closed for the time being. It is expected that the court registries will open on Monday September 19.
Our local office will re-open as soon as power is restored to Road Town. In the meantime, BVI legal and administrative work will be performed from our London, Cayman Islands and Singapore offices.
A number of partners from our BVI practice continue to be available to assist with enquiries:
