Richard joined Forbes Hare in 2014. He is a Partner in the firm’s litigation and insolvency department and is based the BVI office.

Richard has a broad-based practice encompassing corporate, commercial, funds, trust and regulatory disputes, as well as contentious and non-contentious insolvency and restructuring matters, which regularly have a cross-border dimension. He is an experienced solicitor-advocate with higher rights of audience in civil matters.

Prior to joining Forbes Hare, Richard was a Senior Associate in the Sydney office of top tier Australian firm Clayton Utz, where he worked in the nation’s premier litigation and insolvency practice. During his seven years at Clayton Utz, Richard acted in a range of contentious matters for listed companies, banks, insolvency practitioners, high net worth individuals and government agencies.
